Got a whole load of bargains, well chuffed with myself. Possibly might go back tomorrow, into town. Might meet mother in town straightaway, or come home. Can't spend too much time in town - got the light event ceremony to go to!

I so can't wait for it, it's going to be so special ^^

Coming to the end of Semester 1

And I seriously cannot fucking wait. It's starting to drag now, which isn't funny. I'm so close to getting the practical side of things done in Data Mining, I can't wait - then I have to write up a report on what I've done. Lovely....3500 words on pure tripe >_>

Ahaha. Then I've got a User Guide to do for Commercial Games Designment. I can so get that done in a day.

Then there's the write up for the Presentation. Shouldnt take me too long - I've found Powerpoint on Open Office on my home comp, so I can try something at home.

Ahhh...I wish it was the holidays already!

And you know what else has been bugging me lately? Not being able to find an advent calender with a countdown to New Year :(

Pokemon Fever - Viva la FireRed!

Not that I've ever been out of the craze - loyal devoted fan since the released over here in 1996 - but I recently decided to buy LeafGreen. However, you can't buy it in stores now. Not really. A lot of places have stopped selling GBA games :(

Anyway, I decided to migrate my main FireRed team - Blastoise, Primeape, Mewtwo, Moltres, Raichu, Pidgeot to Diamond, minus their HM moves.

I restarted FireRed after that, had to wait 24 hours to migrate though, and got myself a Male Squirtle (Fox), Female Pidgey (Ciara), Male Nidoran (Reace), Female Nidoran (Kimberley). I aim to get a Hitmonchan (Theo), and Abra (Mark).

I had this team in mind for a long time, reasons being:

I love Blastoise, favourite starter ever.
Pidgey = best bird ever.
I love Nidoking and Nidoqueen, they look so powerful :3
Hitmonchan resembles a Taekwondo artist :P
Abra - need a psychic XD

I got this verse from a little message card I got from a shop today. The message really spoke to me about my Nanna, and I had this impulse..to just buy it.

I'm keeping it near me, and I aim to read it everyday at least once.

So, what have I done this week? I handed in two pieces of coursework, which I spent loads of time working on, got to grips with yet another piece of lab work for Data Mining, found a spiffy website full of old NES titles - no download required, feel free to go to www.nintendo8.com, as well as buy birthday and christmas cards today. Oh, I also bought a friends birthday presents as well :)

I also got a New Home card, and some chocolate for a much loved friend at Church. I promised him I would get him something next time I would come to Church, and I have kept to my promise.

I'm going to play FFXII tomorrow, and I am going to do a lot of hunts. And I shall play FFX as well. I'd like to do some painting tomorrow as well, as well as tonight. Just my tiger paint by numbers picture. It's been quite challenging!

And it has just been decided by my friends that I am playing FFX first when I get home, and then FFXII.

I won't be spending too much time online either, as I aim to get DS/PS2 gaming done, as well as lots of reading.

I finally get to weigh myself this coming week, Wednesday I think. I do hope I get under 14st! I'd love to be under 13st by the end of the year :)
